Tales of the Cocktail

Tales of the Cocktail, begun in 2003, is an annual culinary event celebrating the history of the cocktail in New Orleans. Jenny Adams became involved with the event in its third year and since then her association and close friendship with the event’s founder Ann Tuennerman have led to multiple articles in various publications and the publication of Jenny’s first book, “Mixing New Orleans, Cocktails & Legends.” The book was the official book of Tales of the Cocktail 2007, and it was the No. 1 seller during the week-long festival. Ann and Jenny also collaborated on a six-month cocktail column that ran in Greater New Orleans Living magazine. Entitled “Hip to Sip,” the column brought readers a taste of the New Orleans cocktail culture and the hippest places to grab a drink.
